Fluidized Bed Technology
Fluidized bed technology is a method for the treatment of granular goods. Power engineering, food industry, and pharmaceutical industry are classic fields of application of fluidized bed technology.
Likewise the production of detergent pre-products in the form of pellets is based on this technology. During a fluidized bed process a gas stream sets the fill into a liquid-like state.
Furthermore it is possible to produce solids from liquids purposefully, the so-called granules or agglomerates, which are different in moisture content, particle size, composition, or redispersibility.
