Product samples
Producing product samples is often useful to decide whether or not it is advisable to implement a process engineering concept on industrial scale. This is not only to prove efficiency of the concept but also to verify product quality regarding the following processing stages.
Various manufacturing processes are available to produce those product samples. Among others it includes the following processes in the fields of fluidized bed technology and spouted bed technology:
- Granulation
- Agglomeration
- Coating
- Encapsulation
All processes can be realized both on micro-scale (max. 2 litres) and semi-industrial scale (max. 100 litres) in continuous and discontinuous operation. Additionally there are several processes that can be applied such as:
- Rotor granulation process
- Extrusion process
- Spray drying process
- Crystallisation process
