Process Simulation
In the past years computer simulations are used more intensive to support the design, planning and dimensioning of process equipment.
For such applications the AVA offers several standardized software solutions. Two examples are Fluidized Bed Spray Granulation Simulation (FBSim), as a tool to desing fluidized bed dryers and granulators and Composite Material Simulation (CMSim), as a tool the determine the temporal temperature distribution in composite materials.
Additionally we offer individual software solutions to our customers. These products are characterized by a easy usability. Some examples are tools for
- calculation of the statics for 3D piping systems,
- dimensioning of multilayer insulation,
- design of fluidized bed dryers,
- design of horizontal fluidized bed dryers,
- dimensioning of packed beds,
- pneumatic design of fluidized beds and
- properties of gases such as air (saturation, dew point, drying potential).
